ROI Royale is live.
A new trading competition on Tria where your returns matter just as much as how much you trade.
From August 21 to August 31, traders compete for $8,000 USDC across two separate leaderboards, one based on ROI and one based on trading volume.
$4,000 for ROI. $4,000 for Volume.
So whether you're chasing the best percentage return or pushing serious volume, there's a leaderboard for you.
Two leaderboards. Two ways to win.
Your returns finally have their own leaderboard
The ROI Leaderboard is where things get interesting.
It ranks traders by their percentage return, rather than simply looking at who traded the biggest amount.
Say one trader starts with $500 and finishes up 20%. Another trades with $50,000 and finishes up 10%. The $50,000 trader made more money.
But on the ROI leaderboard? 20% beats 10%.
That's the whole idea behind ROI Royale. Your account doesn't have to be the biggest one in the competition to fight for the top spot.
And yes, volume still pays
Big-volume traders aren't being left out.
ROI Royale runs a Volume Leaderboard alongside the ROI leaderboard. So there are two races happening at the same time:
- ROI Leaderboard: $4,000 USDC
- Volume Leaderboard: $4,000 USDC
The top 6 traders on each leaderboard win a share of their respective prize pool.
And if you're good enough to rank on both? You can win on both.
Here's what the $8,000 looks like
| Rank | ROI Leaderboard | Volume Leaderboard |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | $1,200 | $1,200 |
| 2nd | $850 | $850 |
| 3rd | $650 | $650 |
| 4th | $500 | $500 |
| 5th | $450 | $450 |
| 6th | $350 | $350 |
| Total | $4,000 | $4,000 |
What you need to qualify
To qualify for ROI Royale leaderboard rewards, you need to meet both requirements:
- Trade $20,000 or more in total volume during the competition.
- Have a minimum account value of $250.
The $20,000 requirement is based on your cumulative trading volume, so you do not need $20,000 sitting in your wallet.
Once you meet both requirements, you're eligible to compete for rewards on the ROI Leaderboard, Volume Leaderboard, or both.
Your PnL gets another shot at winning
There's another competition running alongside the leaderboards.
Share your PnL card on X during ROI Royale and you'll get a shot at the daily reward: $100 USDC or a VIP upgrade.
A fresh draw happens every day.
So your PnL isn't only something to stare at after closing a position. Put it on the timeline.

How winners will be announced
Once ROI Royale ends on August 31, the final leaderboard positions and eligible entries will be reviewed before the results are confirmed.
The winners will then be announced through Tria's official channels and in-app updates, and winners will also be notified directly.
There's no separate claim process for leaderboard rewards. Once the results are finalized, USDC rewards will be sent directly to the winners' Decibel wallets.
